John Vance, one of the tri-county’s
most successful REALTORS®,
has an industrious work ethic
that can be traced back to a very
young age. “I remember making
and selling paper weights when I
was six; gluing tiles together, and
then going door to door.” This
level of perseverance has definitely
not waned over the years. After
serving in the military, John was
influenced to enter the real estate
profession due to his father-in-law
who owned a real estate business.
John obviously had a knack for the
trade because from that point he
continually proved his success, and
his talents haven’t gone unnoticed.
Numerous distinctions in his
profession have been awarded
to him, including the Presidential
Circle Award for 2004, REALTOR®
of Distinction for 2003 with over
$22 million in sales for Coldwell,
and Coldwell Banker’s International
Diamond Society Member for
2002. He is now a partner in the
newly formed Premier Properties
of Charleston LLC, and continues
as a market leader. His wife, Deanna,
a Certified New Home Specialist,
is John’s full time
assistant and
does all of the creative marketing
and a good bit of buyer agency, as
well as listing. You could say that
the real estate profession runs in
the family.
Many of John’s attributes have
helped him become a force in the
real estate profession. The drive
that compels him to be persistent
in his clients’ behalf is their expressions
of satisfaction. Whether
you have a home to sell or you
are in the market to buy a home,
John will give you his time, attention,
and most importantly, his
loyalty. John states, “I attribute the
success I’ve had in real estate to
the lasting friendships I build with
clients. Most of my business has
come from referrals of past clients,
or from past clients themselves.”
Most of John’s customers are referrals
from past clients or acquaintances
that realize John’s integrity
and honor.
Additionally, his knowledge of
real estate is in-depth and comprehensive.
He is a certified new
home specialist and an accredited
buyer representative. He
sells homes ranging in price from
$49,900 to $2 million and works
in locations such as Mt. Pleasant,
James Island, Summerville, Moncks
Corner, and Goose Creek. He
is also a member of the Greater
Summerville/Dorchester County
Chamber of Commerce and the
Charleston Metro Chamber of
Commerce. In order for his clients
to feel secure and confident in
decisions when buying or selling a
home, John never settles for second
best from himself. Importantly,
John feels that “word of mouth”
is truly paramount in any type of
sales and it this reason he repeatedly
offers excellent client service.
John made the Charleston area
his home over 10 years ago after
living in Germany. He currently
resides in Summerville with his
wife, Deanna and two daughters,
Kayleigh who is 15 and Samantha
who is 12.
